Internships: Fall 2013/Spring 2014
Do you have a passion for reaching out to others and building community? Are you self-motivated, creative, organized, and hard-working? If so, we would love to talk with you about our internship program.
The Campus Ministry Center (CMC) at Miami University is seeking interns for the 2013-2014 academic year. The CMC is a faith-based non-profit organization that seeks to bring together the Oxford and Miami communities around three inter-related areas: Spiritual Growth, Service, and Social Justice.
Our interns serve approximately 10 hours per week (excluding breaks and finals weeks) at the Campus Ministry Center, which is located at 16 S. Campus Avenue, right across from campus and near uptown Oxford. Interns work as a team to plan and run our weekly Food For Thought program, as well as creating and promoting special events and staffing the CMC office on a rotating schedule.
Students from all religious backgrounds (including those with no religious affiliation) are encouraged to apply. Internships are for the full academic year, but we will consider applicants who can work for one semester only.
If you are interested and would like to receive information and an application once they become available, please email Rebecca Woods, the Campus Ministry Center’s executive director: rebecca@campusministrycenter.org for an application form.
